LANDSCAPE DESIGN PROCESS

The landscape design process we follow is illustrated below.

We involve our clients throughout this process, and they are left knowing that their new
landscape will more than meet their expectations.

Landscape Process

STAGE 1. Initial Meeting & Client Brief

The process begins with walking over the site and listening to your requirements and objectives,
discussing your likes and dislikes, and gaining a feel for what it is you want to achieve.

Once we have a good idea of what it is that you want to achieve, we can then begin the process
of the landscape design.

STAGE 2. Site Survey & Analysis & Site Plan

The site is measured and photographed and the physical and environmental factors are assessed
in order to begin designing the arrangement of the landscape.

Back in the office a site plan is developed from which the landscape design will be produced.

STAGE 3. Preliminary Concept Plan & Meeting

The preliminary landscape design is a response to all the information obtained from the
site analysis and the client brief, and from our landscape design experience and creativity.

At this stage we select materials and plants for the landscape and present these at our meeting
using our extensive range of photographs from our form & foliage image library.

STAGE 4. Final Landscape Concept Design

The finalised concept plan is a creative and functional landscape design from which the landscape
can be priced, scheduled for construction and built.

It includes form & foliage keys, lighting layout, any infringements on town planning requirements,
essential notes and standards. The landscape design process takes 1 to 2 months to complete.
